Breaking the Spine created this feature – ‘Waiting on’ Wednesday, where bloggers could gush about their most coveted upcoming release. Here’s mine:

Seventeen-year-old Ruby is a fireblood who must hide her powers of heat and flame from the cruel frostblood ruling class that wants to destroy all that are left of her kind. I feel like I say this a lot, but what’s a gal to do? I must point out the obvious – in typical YA fashion, this cover is gorgeous! This book first popped up on my radar when I saw it on someone else’s ‘Waiting on’ Wednesday, and since, it’s been a prominent fixture in the blog-sphere for this meme. This only makes me even more excited for it. This sounds like it’s going to be action packed and edge of your seat, and I can’t wait to read it! And bonus – this is being touted as a three book series. There’s something about a finite series that makes me giddy. Also, the release date for this one is just around the corner, so I (and may others) won’t have to wait long!
