“Waiting on” Wednesday | Once and for All by Sarah Dessen

Breaking the Spine created this feature – “Waiting on” Wednesday, where bloggers could gush about their most coveted upcoming release. Here’s mine:

Louna, daughter of famed wedding planner Natalie Barrett, has seen every sort of wedding: on the beach, at historic mansions, in fancy hotels and clubs. Perhaps that’s why she’s cynical about happily-ever-after endings, especially since her own first love ended tragically. When Louna meets charming, happy-go-lucky serial dater Ambrose, she holds him at arm’s length. But Ambrose isn’t about to be discouraged, now that he’s met the one girl he really wants.

Sarah Dessen’s many, many fans will adore her latest, a richly satisfying, enormously entertaining story that has everything—humor, romance, and an ending both happy and imperfect, just like life itself.

Publication date: June 6th

I discovered Sarah Dessen last year, and I blew through a bunch of books from her back list. All of her stories make me feel nostalgic, and I just love that feeling. Often times her stories include first love, and that’s always a bonus for me. There’s nothing like the feeling of first love!

  1. I’ve seen good reviews on her books, but still haven’t tried one yet. Neat that you can look forward to a new one since you love her stuff.

  2. Wow, how often do you come across the name Ambrose, in modern/contemporary fiction? That’s neat. 😀 I’ve not read any of Dessen’s books! I know how popular she is and I have a feeling I’ll read one of her books in the future, to see if I might enjoy her work. I hope you enjoy this book when you get the chance to read it!

    Have a wonderful week. =)

    Check out my WoW post!

    1. Oddly enough, this is this particular author’s second time using the name, unless this turns out to be the same Ambrose from Saint Anything. I’ll be interested to see if it is. It’s going to set a whole different tone than from what I am expecting if it turns out to be!
