“Waiting on” Wednesday | The Love Interest by Cale Dietrich

Breaking the Spine created this feature – “Waiting on” Wednesday, where bloggers could gush about their most coveted upcoming release. Here’s mine:

There is a secret organization that cultivates teenage spies. The agents are called Love Interests because getting close to people destined for great power means getting valuable secrets.

Caden is a Nice: The boy next door, sculpted to physical perfection. Dylan is a Bad: The brooding, dark-souled guy, and dangerously handsome. The girl they are competing for is important to the organization, and each boy will pursue her. Will she choose a Nice or the Bad?

Both Caden and Dylan are living in the outside world for the first time. They are well-trained and at the top of their games. They have to be – whoever the girl doesn’t choose will die.

What the boys don’t expect are feelings that are outside of their training. Feelings that could kill them both.

Publication date: May 16th

There’s just something about risking it all for young love, and I can’t wait to see how this one shakes out!

    1. Someone else mentioned the same thing, but I don’t get love triangle from this blurb. I think the girl is going to be the odd person out in this. Hopefully I will know soon! πŸ™‚

  1. It’s funny because the concept of instead of both boys liking the girl, the boys like each other, is exactly what made me excited to read it. I wouldn’t call it a love triangle either, but if it is, it’s a whole new interesting spin.
