This weeks topic is:
Who are some authors you have been meaning to read?
It seems like there are so many authors to read and not enough time to read them all! Visiting other blogs is awesome for recommendations, but terrifying for the to be read pile and wallet! But I wouldn’t have it any other way. After all, I’d much rather have too many books than not enough. Here are some author’s I’ve never read that are at the top of my ‘want to read’ list.
Oh, my gosh. There are so many! The one at the top of my list is Megan Erickson. I have read a few of her co-efforts with Santino Hassell and loved them, but I am curious to see what she does on her own. Luckily I have one on my list for September, so she’ll be on my ‘read’ list before I know it!
Sarah J. Maas is another I want to try, specifically her A Court of Thorns and Roses trilogy. The second on in that series is supposed to be a Hades and Persephone retelling – a good one – and I want to give it a go!
I’ve mentioned recently that I’ve been watching a lot of bookTube (which seems to focus mostly on YA releases,) and Jenny Han’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series has gotten a whole lotta love. I love the premise of this series, and I cannot wait to get to it. I’m hoping to fit it in this fall all cozied up with a blanket and the entire trilogy!
It’s been a long time since I’ve read a good romantic suspense series, and Katie Ruggle has gotten so many good reviews from my blogger buddies! This is another author I’m excited to fit in. You know me – I love a good bicep cover! 😉
What about you? Are there some authors you’ve been meaning to read but just haven’t had a chance to yet? I’d love it if you’d share. Maybe I need to add them to my list!
