Back in the Saddle Again | TMI

Quick note on where I’ve been, and to let you know I’m back!

I started a new job about six weeks ago, and learning a new job is always a challenge; I was drained by the end of the day. So not only was I not blogging, but I just didn’t have the drive to be reading, so there was no review content for me to post. I have hopefully remedied that – I am getting the swing of my new job, and bonus! I can listen to audiobooks while I am working. Though I am not always able to do this, because sometimes I just need to be focusing and problem solving. But this at least gives me opportunity for even more content.

As if that wasn’t enough, I felt it was time for me to move, as my last living situation was less than ideal. I’ve spent the weeks leading up to my move purging and packing (and boy did I purge a lot of stuff!) and then last weekend, my move finally took place! I am not fully unpacked, but my major rooms have some semblance of order to them. And I am determined not to stress about the unpacked boxes in my spare room – though that’s not panning out well, because I just stress about pretty much everything.

So, in short, I am back! I’m shooting for four posts a week, but if three is where I end up, I am going to try not to stress about it. (Though in accordance with my previous comment, it will no doubt consume me.) Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to visit my few and far between posts over the last few months. I really appreciate the support!

I’ll be back tomorrow with a review of Tender with a Twist by Annabeth Albert – spoiler alert! I loved it! – and with a few more posts this week. I am so looking forward to having the time to blog and visit again!

  1. I started a new job this year, and wow did it mess with my reading and blogging. I’m a bit better now, but not at all back to where I was. Also, I stress about everything too, so you are not alone, there. I’m glad you are back to posting, but definitely do what you can.

  2. Yay for settling into the new job and the move. That’s a lot all at once. Awesome you can audiobook while you work sometimes 🙂 Hope things are going well this week!
