I just wanted to give you all a heads up – like we say in Maine, I am headed ‘upta camp’ for the weekend and most of next week. I’ve spent this week getting ready, so commenting and visits have fallen by the wayside. It will probably be a few weeks before I am caught up, but it will be a priority once I get back! This past week is predicted to be the hottest week of the year (glad to get that out of the way,) so I am needing family time, water time, and campfire time!

I didn’t realize you were from Maine. I’ve visited one of my college besties twice over the years. She lives about thirty miles south of Bar Harbor along the coast. It is so beautiful there in the summer.
Anyhoots! Enjoy going ‘upta camp’ and that lake. My turn starts about a week from now so I’ll catch you on the flip side. 🙂
Oh, and I can believe that the last week was the hottest of the year. Our heat index hit 105 yesterday. Cooler temps would be a blessing.

I’ve lived here my whole lie and really haven’t ventured very far. I think the furthest south I’ve gone is Connecticut. Yes, it really is beautiful here in the summer. It is in the winter, too, if you don’t mind the cold weather.
